Holy shit. I do this. Even though I’m allergic to cats, I even make friends with the cats. This is a real thing. Can we start a support group? We can meet at an animal shelter to feel more comfortable.

I was at a party once where I didn’t know many people other than the host and hostess, so I got permission to take their large dog for a long walk. That was a very good part of the party for me.
